BILLY JOEL says fans should not expect him to go on tour anytime soon, or perhaps ever again. He has ruled out a return to touring because he is still struggling from his double hip-replacement surgery he had back in 2008, and the grueling schedule that touring requires, traveling from country to country and city to city, has taken it's toll. BILLY JOEL explains, "I'm just to old to tour" anymore. But although his last World Tour ended in 2008, he as since kept busy with occasional shows such as... "The Last Play at Shea" in 2008, half a dozen Q & A sessions, with a little music, at selected College Universities, the American Red Cross benefit concert at Rockefeller Center, New York City, held on November 2, 2012, The 12.12.12. concert in New York, The New Orleans Jazz Festival (Billy Joel - April 27, 2013) and The Stone Music Festival in Sydney, Australia (Billy Joel - April 21, 2013). If you get the opportunity to see him at any of these select shows do go, because his World-wide touring days are officially over.
